1.      Thursday, March 21st (3/21/2013). We will leave Seattle on Thursday, 03/21/2013

a.       Delta Airlines (Flight DL 0155) leave Sea-Tac Airport at 1:50pm and arrive on Friday, March 22nd (3/22/2013) at 4:35pm at Tokyo Narita (NRT) Airport in Japan.

b.      Change flight to Delta Airlines Flight 0275 and leave Tokyo Narita Airport at 6:10pm and arrive at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport on Friday, March 22nd (03/22/2013) at 9:20pm

c.       A chartered bus will pick us up and take to the hotel in Taipei city  

d.      Check in TAIPEI GRADEN HOTEL at 10:45pm.

2.      Saturday, March 23rd (03/23/2013): Taipei City Tour

a.       Taipei city tour 10:30am

b.      Visit Taipei 101 Building and commercial and shopping districts

c.       Group lunch at Shinyeh 101 Restaurant (Taiwanese Cuisine) (on the 85th floor of Taipei 101 Building -- The 2nd tallest building by function in the world)

d.      Maokong Gondola

e.       Night market/free time

f.       Your expense: Dinner

 

3.      Sunday, March 24th (03/24/2013): Taroko National Park

a.       Take a domestic flight from Taipei Songshan Airport to Hualien City located in Taiwan's east coast and tour the Taroko National Park

b.      Lunch at Silks Place Hotel

c.       Take the sightseeing train back to Taipei city at 8:30pm

d.      Evening free time

e.       Your expense: None

 

4.      Monday, March 25th (03/25/2013): Science Park and University Visits

a.       Leave at 9:00am (chartered bus) to Taoyuan county and HsinChu city (about 50 miles south of Taipei city)

b.      National Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall

c.       Visit the College of Management at Yuan Ze University in Taoyuan, Taiwan (10:45am to 1pm) (Host: Dr. Jashen Chen, Dean of the College of Management, and Dr. Alex Huang, Associate Professor and Director of Office of International Programs, and 20 MBA and MS students)

d.      Visit HsinChu Science-based industrial park

e.       Company visit: (Realtek Semiconductor Corp.) (2-4pm) (Host: Dr. Yee-Wei Huang, Vice President of Realtek Semiconductor Corp., and Mr. Tim Kuo, Special Assistant to CEO and Head of Corporate Communication)

f.       Group dinner with Taiwanese branding expert and best-selling book author Mr. Vincent Lai (Seattle University MBA) at Hung-Kan Restaurant

g.      Your expense: None

 

5.      Tuesday, March 26th (03/26/2013): Fly to Beijing, China

a.       Check-out Taipei Garden Hotel at 6:30am. A chartered bus will take us to Taoyuan International airport.

b.      EVA Airways (Flight BR 0716) at 9:25am and arrive at Beijing Capital Airport at 12:40pm (with meal service). A chartered bus will take us to the hotel.

c.       Check in Four Points by Sheraton Beijing around 2:30pm

d.      Free time (Afternoon)

e.       Group dinner and evening entertainment (Szechuan cuisine)

6.      Wednesday, March 27th (03/37/2013): Beijing City Tour

a.       Tiananmen Square, National Center for the Performing Arts

b.      Forbidden City

c.       Group lunch at Mei-Wei-Jen Restaurant

f.       Evening entertainment: Golden Mask Dynasty show

c.       Visit Multinational Corporation VMWare China branch, 2-5pm in Beijing Zhongguancun Science Park (Host: David Sung, President & CEO)

c.       Arrive at SEA-TAC airport at 5:30am
