An objective of the undergraduate business program is to prepare students for positions in commercial and not-for profit organizations by providing them the basic knowledge of how these organizations function and equipping them with the necessary competencies to work effectively. Our intention is to provide our students the opportunity to demonstrate:
- be prepared to make ethical decisions,
- be competent in the disciplinary foundations of business,
- understand global and multicultural perspectives,
- have critical thinking and quantitative skills,
- be effective written and oral communicators,
- have team and interpersonal competence, and
- competently use contemporary technologies.
A requirement of the Bachelor of Business Administration degree is an electronic Portfolio which, demonstrates the attainment of these critical competencies.
